ODDS ON CCFC MANAGER CHANGED TOTALLY THIS MORNING:

Why would anyone want to come here. only despration would bring you anywhere near this club.

Cracking potential, good squad, owner under pressure to support the new Manager, this is a highly sought after job.

There are also plenty of managers who are realistically available to us and looking for a job.

I don't know why some are so determined to talk us down all the time.

It's right to criticise the board and owner but not us as a club.

Don't you get it Ned????? WE are just fans of the CLUB.

The absolute CLOWNS who make all the decisions ARE THE CLUB!!!! So essentially when you criticise the board, you are criticising the club. The fans have no say whatsoever.......we just sit on the side-lines (literally) and pray that something good happens.

With the present structure this will never be achieved.

This means nothing.

The bookies don’t have a clue.

Didn’t with Bulut, Didn’t with Riza, and don’t now.

When it comes to next Liverpool - Man U - Chelsea - Tottenham - etc Manager different story as most bookies have a book on this market and the info to hand is so much stronger .

Not having a go at worcester but your spot on they the 3 amigos own and run the club the fans just support the team or club which ever way you spin it,

Odds have changed this afternoon. Buckingham and Ramsey now neck and neck but Jones doesn’t go away. Like us the Bookies are struggling. I thought Sky News had said City interest in Jones had waned with the level of compensation so 6-1 is cautious.
Maybe it will be Rambo as caretaker until Tan wins his case against Nantes and then…..

With the lack of ‘official’ information coming out of the club, it is feasible that the new manager will be a ‘surprise’ but my understanding/belief is that the main contenders have been named on here already and one in particular (Buckingham) would have already been named had it not been for the ‘possibility’ of Jones (their no.1 target for some time) being available ‘at some cost’

As has been put out elsewhere, the big problem is that our owner believed Jones would walk away from his contract with no compensation being paid. He got that wrong and a fee of £1m was asked for by Charlton; but they doubled that last week and the impasse began

Time is now ebbing away, as the pre-season approaches and a decision needs to be made sooner rather than later and my money is still on Buckingham

Believe what you like in the meantime, as we know some of are itching to ‘knock’ information given ‘in good faith’ but the club are trying desperately hard to get the right man and not all the delays are down to them

Understand that mate and I actually enjoy the information given and wouldn’t criticise anyone who puts information out.

If we wanted jones we could’ve enquired at that the time of riza sacking and gone from there.

Des - Won't get a championship job so on paper, Cardiff, Luton and Plymouth are the best options , outsider for the green army
Rambo - Same as Jones, but with no coaching experience to go with no management experience
BBM - His agent is doing a decent job getting his name mentioned, but L1 is a leap of faith that he can improve on the last time he was a manager.

I'd have gone for Jones, Giggs, Buckingham, Evatt, Barry-Murphy, then Ramsey in that order, so as it looks like Jones and Giggs won't be there, I'd take Des as the next best on paper.
