The odds on Kieffer Moore joining Cardiff City in January ar

The odds on Kieffer Moore joining Cardiff City in January are as little as 4/5 by leading Welsh bookmaker Dragonbet.

Erol Bulut has made no secret of his desire to sign Moore in the January transfer window, with Cardiff after as many as five new players in the January transfer window, which you can read about here.

They desperately need a focal point to lead the attack and with Moore, who scored 20 league goals the last full season he was at the club, barely featuring for Bournemouth this season, the Wales striker could be enticed to move back to the Welsh capital. And Dragonbet have him odds on to sign for the Bluebirds by the end of the window.

In the latest episode of the EFL podcast last week, Bulut said: "For Kieffer Moore, we tried already in the summer, but it was not possible, because they tried to sell him, or they wanted to sell him, his club, and because of our penalty, we couldn't make anything.”

"We have to see the financial aspect from Cardiff City's side, too. I hope the board members see how hard we were doing until now and they are satisfied, in my opinion. That's why, I hope in January they are going to invest a little bit more so I can get three or four more quality players so we can push for more."

He looked very happy with his goal. He’ll stay in the Premiership if he can, as any player would because of the wages. Still would like to see him with us though.

Kieffer Moore has said that his move to Ipswich Town has been ‘a long time coming’, adding that he’s ready to hit the ground running and help his new side challenge for promotion to the Premier League.

The 31-year-old has struggled for game time so far this season, getting most of his minutes off the bench for Premier League side AFC Bournemouth. As a result, he was linked with moves to Sunderland and Cardiff City, although the Blues were able to get the loan switch sorted on transfer deadline day.
