Cardiff City have made a bid in the region of £7m in the hopes that they can buy Welsh star Gareth Bale.
Bale has premiership experience with Spurs so it may be a good signing for Cardiff. However, Real Madrid value the Winger at 100m which is far off what Cardiff are willing to offer.
Neil Warnock must surely be looking elsewhere soon, as fans and experts have suggested the Bluebirds should sign more central midfielders. If Real Madrid do accept Cardiff City’s bid of 7m, the wages for the Welshman could prove a stumbling block as he is currently on £340,000 a week and Warnock is thought to only be offering the Welsh Talisman £18,000.
However, if the unlikely does happen, Bale could find himself on the outskirts of the starting 11 with competition from Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and experienced Winger Liam Feeney who is currently not at the club anymore due to his loan extension finishing earlier this month.
