April Fixtures massive!

Postby JakeBluebird » Tue Feb 13, 2018 9:19 am

I think April will be the make or break for Cardiff.

We could end up top 2
Play offs
Or even outside the play offs if we have a disaster of a month

Lots of tough games against teams up their with us

Sheffield Utd A
Wolves H
Aston Villa A
Norwich A
Notts Forest H
Hull A

We have everything to play for we keep up with the top 2 by April and we could just nab automatic promotion

Win
Draw
Loss
Win
Win
Draw

That's how I predict it but this is the championship so it could be all wins or all losses. :laughing6:

Sheff Utd 1-3 Cardiff
Cardiff 2-0 Wolves
Aston Villa 2-2 Cardiff
Norwich 2-3 Cardiff
Cardiff 2-0 Nottingham Forest
Hull City 2-2 Cardiff

I thin the Bluebirds will be 2nd if we beat big matches like Aston Villa, Sheff United and Norwich

A win tonight and on Saturday and perhaps we can look a little higher although to have any chance of automatic we need a very healthy haul of points between now and the beginning of April. Right now I'd settle for a place in the play offs.

Think I'd concentrate on Feb and March first. If things go pear shaped, April could become almost irrelevant.

We just seem to get bullied off the ball all the time, considering we are a big team size wise, Millwall made us look like kids at times, why no one gave that Morrison a dig is beyond me, he bossed us most of the game, was gobbing off and no one had a go back at him. We actually made Millwall look like a good passing footballing side at times.

I think your right though it may not matter come April time unless we win tonight and against the Boro, I think we will batter both of them to be honest but though the new signings have given us options I do not believe they have made a great difference to us. Leeds was a great win but everyone else is also beating them.

Hopefully we can pick up again :bluebird: :bluescarf:

Wow, April !!!!! I am still scrapping frost off my windscreen in the dark still.

Its the championship, block's of 4

10 points amazing
9 really good
7 OK
5 dissapointing
less than this :banghead:

The pressure on Wolves, Derby and especially Villa is huge and we need to remember what that pressure did to us in the last third of the season when were were promoted. Nobody, especially our fans believe we'll do it (attendances demonstrate that) so the pressure is less for us. We need to be in the mix and 9 points over 4 games keeps us in the automatic show for a lot longer.

I really think the next four games will shape our future rather than looking to April
