VINCE ALM:

Polite notice; I apologise I am currently not answering the phone as I am sorting out the supporters club 5 coaches to Birmingham. If you are trying to book Bristol we will be taking bookings and payment from next week.

DO NOT PANIC BRISTOL CITY AWAY WILL NOT SELL OUT. It has not sold out since the play offs in 2003 and we have more tickets available than previous years.

If it is anything else please text or inbox me and I will get back to you later tonight.

Thank you for your patience and understanding

People love the 12 o'clock excuse for this game. Oh how terrible it must be to get up early on a Saturday!

Correct Jack any old excuse.

When we use to travel to Hartlepool and Darlington we would get up at 3am for the train at 4am, it would be fun :thumbright: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Unless you are working a night shift on the Friday night then I can't see why a 12 o clock kick off would be a problem. The coaches are so easy - u just park up at the stadium and get on but there are plenty of other places to get on the coaches at. If you are a member they are very good value (not forgetting it is a return journey include parking and more or less drops u off at the ground or a short walk). Even if I was working Friday night shift - I wouldn't care I'd still b there. I'd just sleep on the coach journey there and back! In terms of drinking - u can do that at the ground - we get there early enough on the coaches you can start boozing (if that's ur thing - most people I know who like to drink don't care if it's in the morning!) an hour and half before kick off at least. Failing which half time! Personally I love the fact that it's a 12 o clock kick off - I can get Home at a good time and still have a bit of an evening. It's such a short journey and let's face it we don't really have any other short journeys to away matches like some other clubs do. If your not sure whether to go my advice - just go! You'll have an amazing time whatever the score. The crowd is as loud as ever, the continuous singing and chanting by our fans is definitely something to be admired. Can't wait for this match now really excited. We should sell out 3000 I can't see why not!

The price - ok that does take the piss abit but it's what it is as I'm still going!

I won't be going. The total cost for me personally with the youngsters who always come to games with me would be over a £100. Afraid I aint paying that for 90 minutes of football. Will be off to watch my local side for free.

When I was working in Bristol for 4 months I would get up at 4am every day then drive an hour there, run 10km from
Avonmouth, put in a 7 hour shift then run 10km back to the car and spend 2 hours trying to get back through the traffic. :laughing6:

I don't think its an excuse, its just a reason people don't want to go now. Why would someone have to make an excuse not to attend a football match? its not school
