Wigan down is now a formality regardless of today's result against an often benevolent Bluebirds when it comes to being charitable to those less well off than themselves! LOL
City need to go up there and do a job for personal pride and for the integrity of the competition
It has always worried me that come the end of any given season (and in any given Division) a club's relegation or survival might be down to the simple anomaly that is the Football Leagues (pretty random nowadays) fixture generator
Club's who are 'comfortable' in mid-table might see themselves as having little to play for and might just relax and take their foot off the gas, which is unfair on a side who are playing fellow strugglers or teams going for promotion
It's my one worry about Swansea in their fight for survival. They play a Welshman-led team with little to play for tomorrow at The New Vetch and all sorts of 'survival' conspiracy theories start to enter my head, so much do I want their fans (not necessarily their club) brought back down to Earth
For the record, I actually believe that Mark Hughes won't give a flying one for Swansea City's plight and will go there to get a result
