How badly do we need a new goalscorer?

Considering our final league position last year and our top goalscorer only being on 9 goals (i think). With Immers looking good towards the last half of the season and the fact that we only stuck Pilkington up front after Christmas (who eventually became our top scorer), how important is it that we sign a striker? Maybe what we really need is a good change in tactics and planning which hopefully Trollope can provide.
Just throwing my own 2 cents in because I've seen a lot of people saying we need to sign a striker if we're gonna be successful.
Also the season where we won the league wasn't Helgusson our top scorer on about 9 or 10?

Freddy and zohore have been signed. Can't see another until macheda and le fondue are gone

It's vital if we want to go up.

But as said Le Fondre and Macheda are on big money so need to be moved on or maybe used.

Tbh i worded it quite poorly.
I meant more along the lines of do we need a 20 goal a season striker considering how well we did without one last year. I'm also not convinced Zohore or Freddy will reach 20 goals (hopefully I'm wrong though)

lets wait and see when the proper games get going, no offence to him but hes not come up against any great opposition yet, if by 12 games in hes on say 6-7 goals then we can say hes a goalscorer

His record in Belgium already confirms he's a Goalscorer id say that their league is about on par with the championship.

I still think we are light up front, hard to no how Freddie will be could be hit or miss, pulling players in at this level from abroad is sometimes a risk, I will wait and see with baited breath.

Think we still need 2 or 3 new out and out strikers, with Alf and macheda on their way out we only got Fred and Zohore, maybe immers and pilks if you count them.

Think we still need a pacey striker and widen our options

Been a problem for a few season's.

Immers lost the ball a few times yesterday's game in Germany and pushed off too easy even if it's only preseason. The Championship is a hard league so it will be interesting if he can carry on from end of last season.
