We’ve still got one or two doubts. Macheda and Revell have made progress, but remain doubtful for Reading. Ben Turner is making good progress. He’s not going to be in and around it for these two games. He’s having some part of sessions and next week will go in fully. He wants to get fit. That’s the good thing.
He’s determined. We hope he will be available soon. Dikgacoi is making progress. There’s a fitness element that needs to be addressed. He’s back in full training and we hope he will play some football this season. He’s working hard and he needs to lost a few more pounds. Pilkington is in training too. Hoping to give him some football.
We have a game on the 10th and if he comes through that, all systems go. Peltier is back in contention. That’s good news too.
Joe Mason will be joining the group travelling which is good to see. Remains to see whether he will start, but he’s been training well. We are delighted he’s back.
Turner is regaining fitness fast.
Joe Mason and Kagisho Dikgacoi are both nearing first team returns after lengthy spells on the sidelines, both players completed forty five minutes in a recent development game against Brentford.
Anthony Pilkington is in training after being out since our away win over Watford in November which at the time it was expected that the midfielder would miss just 3-4 weeks.
Macheda is recovering well from his injury which ruled him out minutes before the Birmingham game, injuring himself in the warm up.
Alex Revell pulled his hamstring and the Reading game will come a little too quickly for the 31 year old.
Ben Turner remains sidelined but is hopeful of featuring before the season ends.
Kadeem Harris serves the last of his three match suspension.

PreviewReading Football Club is an English professional football club, based in Reading, that plays in the Football League Championship. The club competed in the 2012–13 Premier League season, having gained promotion at the end of the 2011–12 season, after winning the Championship. Reading are competing in the Championship again this season having been relegated after one year back in the top flight.
Reading are nicknamed The Royals, due to Reading's location in the Royal County of Berkshire, though they were previously known as The Biscuitmen, due to the town's association with Huntley and Palmers. Established in 1871, the club is one of the oldest teams in England, but did not join The Football League until 1920, and had never played in the top tier of English football league system before the 2006–07 season.
The club played at Elm Park for 102 years between 1896 to 1998. The club moved in 1998 to the new Madejski Stadium, which is named after the club's Co chairman Sir John Madejski.
The club holds the record for the number of successive league wins at the start of a season, with a total of 13 wins at the start of the 1985–86 Third Division campaign and also the record for the number of points gained in a professional league season with 106 points in the 2005–06 Football League Championship campaign. Reading finished eighth in their first ever season as a top flight club.

Madejski StadiumThis Club moved to the stadium in 1998, after spending 102 years at their former home of Elm Park. The stadium is of a fair size and is totally enclosed, with all four corners being occupied. Three sides are single tiered, whilst on one side the West (Main) Stand is two tiered, including a row of executive boxes. This stand has a curve in its roof and the team dug outs are located in front. Unlike the West Stand, the others stands have a more conventional look to their roofs, although there is a gap between the roofs and the back of the stands, that contains perspex, to allow more light to reach the pitch. The ground has been designed with the supporter in mind as the fans are housed very close to the pitch and the acoustics are very good. The stadium also has a video screen in the South East corner. The stadium, named after Reading's chairman John Madejski is shared with London Irish Rugby Club.
