Football is a money game and the FA/FAW/Sky would make far more money if the Welsh derby was showcased in the Premiership live on TV every season.

The reason for this is that the money generated in Wales will help the Welsh economy, the FA can capitalise on the Welsh derby in the same sense the Scots do with Celtic and Rangers.
People will moan that it is unfair but we'll also be exempt from parachute payments.
I think the FA are missing a massive one with this.
The money they could make off.
Man Utd vs Man City
Liverpool vs Everton
Liverpool vs Man Utd
Arsenal vs Spurs
Arsenal vs Chelsea
Chelsea vs Spurs
West Ham vs Spurs
West Ham vs Arsenal
West Ham vs Chelsea
Cardiff vs Swansea
Newcastle vs Sunderland
West Brom vs Villa
Thats 12 games per season of derbies or fiercely contested games.
Thats 24 when you include the reverse fixtures.
The money that could be made would be astronomical if they had their heads screwed on and fans around the world would tune in to see the South Wales derby. Sky also need to put more emphasis on derbies like ESPN do. They seem to mention its a derby but rarely, unless its United vs City or Liverpool vs Everton emphasise the importance of the fixture, the history etc.

Our ref had a coin in his head never mind a player!!! Although I don't agree with such violence I want to state and confirm that Cardiff v Swansea is the most fierce derby of them all!! What derby has to kick off at 11am on a Sunday morning? With all pubs closed? What derby bans the sale of alcohol within-in a large radius from the ground? I tell you what derby! It's the South Wales derby!!!
Half of these so called big teams have never experienced a " real derby" police escort all along the m4? Games being played behind closed doors? Don't make me laugh with one man city fan on the pitch with 1 coin bouncing of rios head!!! One day the prem will see a real derby and the English will hate it!!
It's coming!!! Soon the world will see

Our fans cant even get on to support wales.
Its the only game were away fans were bannd frome traveling.
And if ristrictions were to be lifted and fans could travel as they pleased it would be like the 80s again.
There were allways massive problems when we both use to get small crowds now we both have much bigger fan base it would be even worst.
f**k nows how the ob would have coped had we both got to the final in the play offs.
