It was not the most taxing of weekends for Marshall, as Cardiff saw off Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday, but he was able to repel anything the Owls threw at him to record one of only four clean sheets picked up in the second tier. Not sure those write ups are a good criteria for team of the week?
Do not say they did much in the game but more of a combination of the season (for Marshall) and a first start for Conway.

Marshall didnt have much to do - must have been a shit week for GKs!

One person I would like to single out, though, is goalkeeper David Marshall.
With the score at 0-0, the Owls had a really good chance when they were through on goal and Marshall pulled off a really tremendous save to deny them.
It was a very big moment and credit must go to Marshall for keeping his concentration and making the save because he’d had virtually nothing else to do up until then.
Sometimes that's when you really see who the best keepers are, after they have had nothing to do.
