Re: an idiot abroad

Heavily scripted and over-acted in many parts.

Certainly had potential, but was very transparent cheap comedy based on a caricature that Gervais has created. Not for me.

Re: an idiot abroad

Fri Nov 30, 2012 3:36 pm

Can't stand Gervais, & i didn't think the program was that funny either.

Yeah thats the guy. Same as any programme not everyone will like it but i think its effin hilarious on times scripted or not :ayatollah:

When I saw the OP title I thought it was a thread about Joey Barton, or "Le tw*t" as he is known in France.

Re: an idiot abroad

Fri Nov 30, 2012 6:27 pm

I wouldn't say it was scripted. Just a lot of improv. That doesn't immediately mean its bollocks either.

Great show.

Great programme, shame this is the last series and there's only three episodes but i'm sure it's not the last show Karl Pilkington will do.
