Contact the FSF

After the bullshit restrictions announced by Leeds for our game against them at Elland Road, I think it would be a good idea if as many City fans as possible contacted the FSF notifying them of it and explaining our plan to boycott the game - I already have. We need this to get as much publicity as possible.

I've had a reply from the FSF - "I've CC'd the FSF's Amanda Jacks who deals with these types of issues. I think we've already been contacted on this subject, so it's something she might be familiar with. With Ken Bates still (just about) in charge at Elland Rd the high prices are sadly no surprise but the early KO is really difficult on travelling fans."
Expect updates soon.

We are aware of this issue but mainly because one minute the police change fixtures for safety reasons and the next they say this may change if SKY decide to film the game live.lol

After discussions with West Yorkshire Police the kick-off times for the
following fixtures have been brought forward to 12:30 from the schedule
15:00, but remain on a Saturday. *

The kick-off time changes are being implemented to reduce the potential for
disorder at the fixtures which will reduce the overall policing costs at
each game, which is consistent with the approach now required, arising out
of the recent court judgement.

Leeds United will work closely with West Yorkshire Police and the
opposition to limit any further measures required for visiting fans in
respect of the fixtures.

Leeds United v Cardiff - Saturday 2nd February 2013
Leeds United v Millwall - Saturday 2nd March 2013
Leeds United v Huddersfield - Saturday 16th March 2013
Leeds United v Sheffield Wednesday - Saturday 13th April 2013

It should be noted that these fixtures could still be subject to further
change if selected for live TV coverage.

I say enough is enough Corky, until there is an all out boycott by a clubs' supporters then certain clubs will keep on doing this for their own reasons, in this case it is nothing more than to save money on Policing, on nothing more than a flimsy perceived threat of dissorder, which has very little grounds in the current climate.
