SQUAD FOR TONIGHT?

Tue Nov 27, 2012 12:22 pm

Malky said in his pre-match press that he's got the same group with him that were in the squad against Barnsley as they have stayed up north in Yorkshire for the two games.

He also confirms that Lappin, Turner, Taylor, Cowie and Kev are all not available.

So, does this now mean Declan John will start?

And who will fill Lappin's place in the squad? I've put Coulsen on the bench as he's also made a big impression in the DVP team and plays at full back.

Who will Malky will call up?

We can win this :old:

i would love to see 3-5-2 though with this squad though it would scare the shit out of the opposition defences lol

I think he will just put Ralls or John in at LB

i know every game is a big 1 in the championship but can't help thinking how massive 3 points would be tonight! a lot of other teams near the top playing each other and a chance to put a gap between us and the rest!

Completely agree :ayatollah:. 3 points would be massive for us tonight. Lets hope the boys at the back can defend tonight, would be worth giving Velikonja a run out in the 80th minute or so, his pace will prove difficult to tired derby legs.

If we can keep the back four tight, I think we can nick it.

Personally, I'd take a point.

................................Marshall...............................

Connolly...........Nugent.................Hudson.............John

...................Gunnarsson...........Mutch......................

Noone......................Whitingham......................Kimbo

..............................Helgusson...............................

Subs: Lewis, Gestede, Velikonja, Bellamy, Ralls, Coulson, Mason

on the hour switching to:

................................Marshall...............................

Connolly...........Nugent.................Hudson.............John

..............................Gunnarsson.............................

Noone......................Whitingham....................Bellamy

......................Gestede.......Velikonja........................

Importantly playing with the ball in their half rather than sitting back.
Gestede and Velikonja keeping their defenders turning.
Hopefully John has a cracking game and deservedly makes the position at LB his own.
