Been recalled by Fulham :ayatollah:

CARDIFF CITY loanee Kerim Frei has been recalled by parent club Fulham.

The 19-year-old winger made just three appearances during his short spell with the Bluebirds, with two of those coming off the bench.

He was supposed to remain with Malky Mackay's side until December 2, but injuries to Kieran Richardson, Bryan Ruiz and Alex Kacaniklic mean Turkish international Frei is required back at Craven Cottage as cover.

Cottagers' boss Martin Jol said: “Frei is back from Cardiff. He can't join us for the next match [at Stoke] but he will probably be involved against Chelsea

Thought it was a strange signing. Agreed he looks a top player with a lot of potential and he looked sharp when he came on at the end of the Burnley game but a winger wasn't really an area we needed a loan signingr? Can't imagine Noone or Kimbo would have been happy with being dropped to accomodate someone who was only with us for a few weeks. The fact that Conway was dropped from the bench to make way for Frei might have had a bearing on Conway's decision to ask for a transfer??

He goes into Fulham's clash with Chelsea but couldn't start with us against Charlton, and some of the other shit championship sides we struggled against!

Bit of an odd one, as the kid is class IMO, and would have ploughed through defenses like they weren't they in this division.
Thanks Kerim anyway, for your minimal input.
