Great Half-Time game - Report

Mine and Bambino's under 6's played at Half Time today
The club really made our day and more importantly, theirs.

Started at 12 in the House of Sport, 15 mins skill session topped
with a 5-a-side game for the lads.

The coaches (Gary and Mini-Vinnie) were excellent with the boys and made it fun,
enjoyable and more-so, useful.

They were really impressed with the lads but being together since they were 3,
they are comfortable with the ball at their feet.

At 1, they had a Maccy D's provided by the Club then headed over to the ground.

I must say, the pitch is awesome in the House of Sport, even us coaches had a kickabout
(where I nailed the Crossbar challenge first time)

The game was excellent and apart from being a dream come true being on the pitch, the boys
were buzzing and loved the crowd getting involved.
If you were involved then thanks, it made their day.

Was an amazing day for all of us. The boys didn't seemed fazed at all and a lot of that was down to the reception that had. So massive thanks to everyone who clapped them on, when they scored and the lap of honour. Me and jenks will b bk sat in our seats next game, but being on that pitch was an experience I will never forget.

Superb entertainment. My son and I were fixed on it. He's been playing football since he was knee high and still plays for Neath Boys Club (he's now 13).

Well done to all concerned, including Gary Wilmot who I've met a few times, so I know he's a top bloke and a credit to CCFC.

They grouped slightly more than normal, but I think that was just wanting to impress so much. But we were more than happy with what they did out there. Gary is a top guy

I loved how passionate the City fans got when the boys scored a goal. You could always hear a cheer or a clap.
And one of the strikers scored a lovely finish (think it was the non-bib team's second goal), City future maybe?
