Best era was '89 til '95 when everything was still underground and the music was emerging. Summer Of Love and all that followed. Best years of anything is well before it becomes mainstream and commercial including football, fashion and Glasto. There were no different styles/genres at the beginning and that music is worth tracking down. Ministry, before becoming mainstream and in '91 to mid '90's will never be beaten. 3 rooms. Typical night - Louie Vega in main bar. Carl Cox out back. Shitty little "cinema" chill out. No booze, water only. Football on the doors. Great days. Can't remember much about it unfortunately!

Agreed!!

Cardiff's underground scene is big at the moment with Delete ad Celler Door doing very well. Aura nightclub is also doing their own thing and mostly holding underground nights. Time Flies has gone back to holding more smaller house party's also.

Swansea is more commercial but still have amazing line ups. Escape is pulling out a load of big DJs at the moment. Also Oxygen has the odd big event.

With Swansea some of the best nights are in a place called JnK, they have had some pretty big DJs down there and have got yousef there next weekend.
