Fred Keenor Statue Memorabilia

The Fred Keenor Statue Commemorative Brochures have been delivered by the printers, copies have been set aside for those who have pre-ordered and the rest will be on sale on Saturday afternoon.
The sales points will be the Trust office, the Supporters' Club office and the club shop, while a couple of volunteers will be selling copies in the vacinity of the statue itself. The price is £3.00 per copy.
The brochure is an A4-sized 32-page limited edition of 1,000 copies, and each copy is individually numbered. It contains articles on Fred Keenor's career, his Welsh international appearances, Cardiff's 1927 FA Cup run, the Wembley final, the players who won the Cup for City, the creation of the statue and the 5-year statue campaign.
Contributors include club historian Richard Shepherd, FAW historian Ceri Stennett and sculptor Roger Andrews. We are very pleased with the way it has turned out and I'm sure those who purchase copies will be too.
There are now just five of the Fred Keenor statue replica figurines left out of the 200 that were originally produced. They retail at £40 and can be purchased from the Trust office, and there are a handful of the Fred Keenor statue pin badges left, which can also be bought from the Trust office.
The statue will be unveiled outside the Cardiff City Stadium (near the ticket office) at approximately 1:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend the unveiling.
