Let's all get on the back of Malky's negative 4-5-1 system away from home and push him to play 4-4-2. Then after we lose the lead at Bolton with our 4-4-2 you're crying out for us to be even more attacking. Before kick off I said to my dad that having a midfield 4 of Noone, Whittingham, Cowie and Frei was absolutely suicidal. Our midfield is far too lightweight, Cowie is the only midfielder capable of doing any of the defensive donkey work and we are far too open. Playing Noone and Frei on the wings would be fine as long as we have Gunnarsson/Kiss in the centre to help out Cowie defensively with the physical donkey work. Cowie has a thankless task tonight and Charlton have scored 5 goals. I personally think Malky is right playing 4-5-1 and should stick to this, particularly after tonights performance!
