Chelsea and Leeds to renew heated rivalry in Capital One Cup quarter-finals

Ties to be played w/b December 10

*Chelsea's match will take place a week later due to their Club World Cup commitments

Chelsea have been handed a potentially volatile Capital One Cup quarter-final against Leeds at Elland Road.
There is no love lost between the two clubs with the bitterness stretching all the way back to Chelsea's success in the 1970 FA Cup final.
More ill feeling has followed since but the two sides have not met since May 2004 when Jesper Gronkjaer's goal gave the Blues a 1-0 win in the Premier League.
Leeds boss Neil Warnock fanned the flames before the draw had pitted the two sides against each other as he accused Chelsea of trying to 'kill' referee Mark Clattenburg.

Scary prospect? Chelsea have been drawn to face Leeds in the Capital One Cup
Clattenburg allegedly made 'inappropriate' comments towards Chelsea duo John Obi Mikel and Juan Mata in Sunday's league defeat to Manchester United but Warnock has backed the under-fire official.
'I am disgusted at what has gone on,' he said. 'I am on Mark Clattenburg's side because I think he's made a mistake with the sending-off of Fernando Torres - but Chelsea are trying to kill him because of that and I don't agree with that at all.
'We ask referees to deal with it and man-manage and that's what Clattenburg does.
'I'm sure he might have said a few things but if Chelsea had won that match there would not have been one iota of complaint.
'So if whatever the Chelsea players alleged that Mark said is proved to be wrong, I hope they get done.'

Giant killers: Bradford will welcome Arsenal to Valley Parade next round
Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo, whose side set up the Elland Road clash by beating United 5-4 after extra-time, believes it will be an interesting game and will not take Warnock or his side lightly.
He said: 'It's always difficult to go and play away from home, Leeds and Chelsea, they have a little bit of history there.
'I remember, as a player, playing against them, too. So, it'll be an interesting game for us to go and play at Leeds.
'He (Warnock) has got his style of football and he has to be respected.
'So, I think we'll have plenty of time to think about that game. It's going to be in December.'
The other games in the quarter-finals will see Paul Lambert take his Aston Villa side to face Norwich at Carrow Road for the first time since his departure in the summer.

Bradford were rewarded for beating Wigan with a home tie against Arsenal and Swansea will host Middlesbrough.
