Percentage of possible points stats

Tue Oct 30, 2012 12:04 am

Was looking through sky sports earlier and found this page with a ''percentage of possible points'' column. Currently we have taken 72% of available points which is 8% more than 2nd place Leicester. This just puts it in to perspective that even with away games being less in favour for people tactically, we are still well out-performing in this league.

To gain automatic promotion for the last few seasons are as follows...

2011/2012 - 1st = 64.49%, 2nd = 63.76%
2010/2011 - 1st = 63.76%, 2nd = 60.86%
2009/2010 - 1st = 73.91%, 2nd = 65.94%

If we can keep up this sort of form that we are showing then we are well in the contention for the auto spots! :ayatollah:

KEEP THE FAITH, WE ARE GOING UP! :D

2 points a game on average would essentially end with a 66.66% return on possible points which is quite a bit higher than is needed ;) I think a 2 point a game average would seal promotion no problem! :ayatollah:

Looking good so far, but we can't rely on the home form staying as it is. We wont win every home game this season, but even when we are we need to make sure we're backing it up away. Personally I believe the away form will soon sort itself out, know that KimBo has shown that he deserves a starting spot and Frei brought in aswell, it will only make things better :ayatollah:
