Cardiff City have signed young Turkish winger Karim Frei from Fulham on loan.

The 18-year-old winger has been signed as cover for injured players Craig Bellamy and Tommy Smith.

Frei, who made 25 appearances in the Premier League last season, has yet to feature for the Cottagers this season after picking up a pelvic injury on international duty with Turkey.

He has been back in training for the last month and is said to be highly rated at Craven Cottage.

For such a young player he played a lot of games in the premiership last season, he his lightening fast and will be excellent cover for both smith and bellamy, it does make you wonder though, where does this leave kim bo in the pecking order???

Signed this lad on Football Manager before and he did a solid job. No idea what he's like in real life but I've heard good things.

Even with Bellers and Smith fit this is exactly what we need (pace).
So with them being out makes it even better.

Hope to see Ettien in action soon though..
