I am not invited anymore Steve   as I refused to beg Tan to come back and go ahead with his rebrand in the Media when asked to by our club. WAYNE NASH has banished me for not shutting it, about the stripping of our club  , but I feel proud. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

The three CEO's don't bother me really. Gethin Jenkins was never the right man IMO and as much as I've always liked Whitely I don't think he is a CEO.
I get the feeling Lim is tans first choice as CEO so be interesting to see how he performs although I find it odd he is only acting CEO.
But at the end of the day if someone needs replacing them that's what needs to happen, I think the past we have had to much deadwood at the club who are not capable and being paid a good wage and not delivering.

Yes Luke, I really hope it gets sorted for the good of our club first.
Lim was apparently asked if he was only temporary and he replied no, he is permanent.

I think that's good news then :ayatollah:
Interesting he is an accountant as well, ideal with our balance sheet

How can you seriously say that when VT has already severely vandalised our club?

Thanks for that post Carl, the meeting sounded reasonably encouraging on the whole.

Carl the KCB was destroyed by threats and intimidation. The majority are happy at the moment but that is because of our league position. What am I ? I don't consider or call myself anything, but I am still wrestling with what I will do, Well I hate the rebrand with all my heart I will not purchase anything from the club shop I will not go in there. But even if asked I would not be part of the circus of so called fans leaders that can only go to this meeting if you publicly back Tan and his re brand. If the bluebird goes I hope more and more will then say enough is enough and make a stand .

But who calls us fans leaders Steve, it certainly isn't us, the people who have attended the meetings. You have had 5 months to wrestle with what you are going to do but still have not made a decision.

I have been intimidated in the past and threatened because of some of the things I have written but has it stopped me doing what I believe in, no it has not. People have written to the club to ask for me to be banned, written to the Echo to try amd have me stopped, directors have spoken out against me publicly also.

You say I am an ass licker and a sell out because I attended the meetings, have you ever considered I am trying to get change or answers to the concerns.

You have a right to hold any opinion of me that you care to have but in turn I have the right to disagree with those views and obviously I do.

Carl some people rant on message boards and think because they have they are above other fans and can take a moral high ground. In truth they have done nothing but rant on a message board.

I don't judge any fan, each fan can do what they want but some fans think they tried to save our identity by ranting and mocking others on a message board.

Yes, you lost credibility when you started issuing threats to people who were happy to accept the change.

So Carl I have to make a decision do I ? I have been supporting the city all my life but I have to makes decision here and now. Now I was saying anyone who has not backed this rebrand publicly will not be allowed to this meeting ? Am I correct on this, I know your views and over the past 6 months you haven't exactly found peace in what your beliefs are and that is the impression I get. As to who gets an invite I can only guess to who is invited mate. But there won't be any opposition in the room I would guess.
And Natman you are a cock .

Steve, don't try to spin it round, you say there is a tipping point that most fans will reach and when they do you hope they make a stand but you have reached the tipping point but have not made your stand, have principles Steve !

As to whether you are correct are not regarding the meetings then I can say you are wrong, I get slated on here for my support to Sam Hammam and accused of being anti-Malaysian also but I am invited so maybe you should think about that.

It is ironic that AA thinks those invited to the meeting were all pro Malaysian, when some of the most vociferous anti rebrand people from the very first meeting including some who founded the KCB group were there.

I think that was only right as well, I am sure the club wanted a mix covering a lot of views, but also importantly people who stick to their guns rather than change their minds at the drop of a hat, at least that way they know they aren't dealing with double headers.

Great post Carl. Thanks to whoever who raised the concerns to Lim about the badge and the blue. Hopefully this does get back back to VT and the Langstone debts will get paid in all one day!

I really do think those who feel strongly about the re-brand should actually DO SOMETHING, maybe set up another campaign or somehow actually get the message across to VT! Otherwise..

Cardiff City CEO Simon Lim meets fans to outline future plans

Simon Lim, Cardiff City’s new acting CEO, had a relaxed, informal chat with key Bluebirds fans this week.

Vince Alm from Cardiff City Supporters Club and Tim Hartley from the Cardiff City Trust were among those invited, along with a number of others including Gwyn Davies, Rob Davies, Keith Morgan and Carl Curtis.

Julian Jenkins, Wayne Nash and Tony Jones joined Simon Lim in the meeting.

Lim is an accountant who lived and worked in London for 15 years, while he had been working in Malaysia for a similar period of time. He joined Vincent Tan’s Berjaya Group in June this year within the hotel division.

Click here: CEO Simon Lim promises promotion push cash for high flying Cardiff City

He is football club finance director and acting CEO.

Lim revealed Cardiff City is getting a lot of media exposure in Malaysia because of Tan, primarily because he runs many businesses out there and because he owns a newspaper.

He said there are meetings planned with broadcasting specialists ADI and marketing experts IMG to expand further and give greater exposure.

Lim said the Langston debt issue is sensitive, but did reveal Tan will meet with a QC on Monday to ‘finally resolve’ the issue.

Tan, said Lim, also remains committed to turning his loans into shares once the Langston deal is concluded and said that he is on record in an interview with Forbes magazine in saying that will happen.

The meeting covered new live ticketing pricing, safe standing, a drop in Championship attendances and what the club plan to do to try and increase our numbers.
