Crossing

What was that tonight? Possibly the worst display of crossing I've seen for ages. Noone, who's usually spot on with his delivery was shocking, as was Taylor's. And how many times did we just drill the ball into the defenders legs when we could have made easy pullbacks?

Some of the finishing was the worst. Especially the headers in the first half. Shocking

Some didn't take any time...

but looking back Noone missed 2 headers from crosses.. Helguson caught his volley wrong.. Helguson headed one wide..

We created some good chances off crosses in fairness plus if you seen the save from the one header it was a class save.

There was a fair bit of short pulling involved n a couple of our missed headers, with Helguson, Hudson and Turner all being impeded whilst trying to get their headers on target!
Noone's crossing was poor in the second half, but he got it right eventually, when he put the ball perfectly on Gunnarsson's bonce!

I cant understand why some of our crosses were not hit in the area low and hard instead of in the air every time.
With Watford having loads in defence, surely that ball could bounce off anywhere and anyone with a low and hard cross.
