Sounds like he wants the job. Palace originally turned down the request, perhaps he's had a word?

He will know how to set the team up against us though, plus naturally players will give it full beans cos they want to keep their jobs.

Does that mean we'll be singing "we're not f*cking scared" in a couple of weeks?

Blackburn are also sniffing as well apparently ;)

Take Zaha out of the Palace squad and they are a pretty average lot. Palace has always been a good club for developing young talent so he has made little or no contribution in that respect.

I hope he does go to Bolton because in my opinion he will make little difference despite Bolton having a very good squad. The thing is at Bolton he will be by himself and I think he will struggle without the help and support of Lennie Lawrence.
Still some big names in that Bolton squad with big PL ego's not an easy job for an inexperienced manager.

For me Lennie Lawrence has made a huge contribution at Palace but our Duggie looks likely to benefit.

He'll be be sacked within a year as he will not take Bolton up.

I love the fact the name has been changed from Doggie because it was wrong to Duggie, which is also wrong

How can we sing we know where you are, if he keeps getting linked to other clubs :D

Done wonders at Palace on a tight budget. Bolton can probably offer him a LOT more money than he is on now and better players to work with.

I've been very impressed with what he has achieved.

I said in an earlier post that I thought Palace would be top 6 this year. Without Dougie, they won't do it. :geek:
