Kiss before Cowie?

Tue Oct 16, 2012 1:34 pm

Seeing the thread about Kiss losing against Holland for Slovenia U21's got me wondering if Filip Kiss should be getting in ahead of Cowie whenever Malky wants that more anchoring role in the midfield? Ideally neither of them would play as I see them both as more defensive players, but if ever Malky needs that then I think it should be Kiss, as he puts in hard tackles, works very hard and does exactly what Cowie does but better. He had a great preseason and deserves his chance. Thoughts? :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Not much between them but a lot of the time for us Cowie has played a more wider role.

Cowie is certainly a better passer but doesn't have te physical strength of Kiss.

Not much between them really, I wouldn't start either against forest mind.

Both are very good players to have in our squad, Kiss is only going to get better in my opinion. :ayatollah:

Right now, nobody can really point a finger at Malkys team selection.

We have won 6 out of the last 7 games.

Thats it really.

In CM i'd prefer Cowie. His energy is awesome and he doesn't lose posession often. I just wish Malky would realise he's a CM not a winger

Doesn't matter if we win 7/7, we should always be looking to improve.

But careful not to make erratic changes that could take us backwards

Yeh but my point was. On current form we will piss this division. The manager is
only going to look at changing things if we hit a bad patch.
