Fri Oct 05, 2012 11:44 am

Can't believe what Coleman is doing and has done .We are becoming a laughing stock amongst fellow europeans on the Football stage .Losing supporters ,at this rate it be empty stadiums and just friends and family of the playing squad .Mr Coleman do the right thing and go ,you are out of your depth with the management of Champions league players that represent our nation .

He couldn't hack it at Spanish div 2 or Greek 3rd div.
So why would anyone expect him to manage top class players.

ASshley og Williams is about his standard - probably why he wants him as captain

Gutted he is still here. How could we recover if we lose to Scotland who are worse than s**t?

Of course he couldn't they had crap players, with an attitude of kicking and cheating their way to victory.
Speed wanted to play a good style of football that was attacking and structured.

Speed took Sheffield utd to bottom of the league. This is a fact and no opinion or theory can change that fact I'm afraid.

Now where's that bone?

Regardless of facts in a previous job, Gary Speed made Wales a hard team to beat, playing with confidence and you could see that with the results. Can't argue with the fact that under speed results were good. We are talking about the Wales job not Sheffield United, so stop being pedantic and comment on the job that is in question, the Wales managerial job

If it's typical of a Jack to say the truth i'll take that, I don't see how it is bitter to state the obvious myself but there we go some of the scummers on here don't half speak some shit.

The difference is that you admit you are a jack and for that I have respect for you. No smoking on the other hand is clearly Roath magic pretending to be a cardiff city fan and he clearly is not. Its quite sad when you think of it. What do you gain from pretending to be something you're not?

An intellegant poster would also know that the post was made in reply to the 'scfc' poster who made a previous comment. You're not fooling anyone Roath with your sad game. The facts you use have no basis on the debate. Gary speeds reign as Wales boss has nothing to do with his tenure at Sheffield united.

I am very aware you were talking to the other poster, but it was regarding me so when talked about on a public medium such as this - I shall contribute.

As for speeds tenure at shelf utd... That was brought up as someone mentioned colemans time in Spain as a reason to why he shouldn't have been given the job. Do keep up.

Gary Speed had the respect of players, that was the difference. Well why don't you set the record straight and come clean instead of making mutable accounts for your own amusement. Coleman also couldn't hack it at Coventry, he hasn't learnt a thing.

So speeds tenure at sheffutd has Nothng to do with Wales but colemans time at Coventry has? :?

How do you know Coleman hasn't got the respect of the player? Or did you just make that up?

Speed lost 80% of his first 5 games in charge.

Correct but after that, what happened? Use all the stats, not selections. Well stripping your captain of captaincy half way through a campaign isn't exactly a moral boost is it? You can just see it in the performances that there's no belief or confidence. What was our last result? Why is he playing Collins centre half when he's got a tried and tested partnership in williams and blake. If its not broke, don't fix it

Then we won a few friendlies and dead rubbers, we were hardly brazil of the 70's. The point being however is when speed took over it didn't improve instantly and it's the same under Coleman. New ideas take a while to bed in. Not to mention the tragedy affecting the players every tin they turn up for Wales duty.

Stripping the captaincy is his decision and happens everywhere if the manager feels I isn't working. He's playing Collins at centre back because he's a centre back playing regularly in the prem as opposed to slower league defender that doesn't know if he's a centre back or a full back.

The fact you are questioning the selectin of Collins over Blake to me suggests you really shouldn't be critiquing professional managers decision making as tht one is plain bonkers.

Ah I see. Predictive text, was meant to say lower league.

But yes I said the rest and stand by it. If Darby Blake was premier league quality then why isn't he there?
