Anyone been to Mauritius????

I'm off to Mauritius in 19 days time, has anyone been there? the Hotel I am staying in is the Shandriani beachcomber in Blue Bay, all the reports are very positive, but it would be nice if somone on here has stayed at the same hotel.
My daughter is getting married, so it is a big day for all concerned, by all accounts the hotel staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and make sure it is a special day, food and service suposed to be top notch, there is also a guy who rides up and down the beach on a golf buggy delivering cold beers, happy days, I am so looking forward to having a break, but it will meen missing three home games, will hopefully connect to Wifi so I can keep in touch with the games, it will be much appreciated if anyone has any info'
