4 - 4 - 2

Okay I am not a football pundit but feel that I can comment on what I see.

At Bristol and Palace - we threw away the advantage by playing 4 - 5 - 1 and both journeys home on the bus were "Why were we not playing to our strengths."

When we play 4 - 4 - 2 we are exciting, dynamic and a constant threat to other teams - do you think Malky will cotton onto this
and keep this as a starting formation home and away?


Thoughts?

IMO too much is made of formations, to me its the personnel package. If we get too rigid about formations we end up playing players out of position.

I would like to play 4231 away from home so we can get Filip Kiss on the park sitting in a defensive 2 with Mutch. I don't see much defensive solidity with Beller, noone or Kimbo
