Bad Refereeing.

Wed Sep 26, 2012 7:41 am

You thought we had it bad with bad officiating. The current situation in the NFL is dreadful with the top referees in a lock out with the NFL over pay. The league is now running with second rate officials. This weekend has seen a lot of bad calls that has decided games. I am a big Green Bay Packers fan and the game on Monday night will go down in history as possibly one of the worst decisions of all time and especially under the circumstances.

Check out the reply of the last play and decide for yourself who catches the ball.

I covered this in the gambling news because the decision saw sportsbooks in Nevada save $9m on the result because Green Bay Packers were so heavily backed. I can't believe that even after watching the replay they gave the touchdown. It's obvious that the Packers player gets the interception. I reckon they bottled it.

It was an awful call and I was raging after it. The whole drive was riddled with bad calls including the defensive pass interfence which never was, the push in the back in the end zone by Tate and the TD that never was. Also one official is calling a time out and the other calling a TD. Even after reviewing the play the failed to make the right call which is even worse.

That is the thing I am laughing about. There was one guy saying it was no touchdown so when they reviewed it you'd think he'd point out the obvious and they'd say "hey, actually yeah, you're right!"

It is very inexplicable to be honest. NFL has been riddled with problems for years and it's all coming to a head now.
