An old one and there's probably more now but..

A team of full English caps (that played for England) in each position with four letters in their surname.

Got to laugh as I said it would be easy now, not one of those would be in the original version of the question, think it may have been something some world cup or other and there was only twelve or thirteen possibles, the keeper was the hardest..

Gordon West, Everton keeper

Colin Bell - Man City
Alan Ball - Arsenal
Roger Hunt - Liverpool
Colin Todd - Derby
Gordon Hill - Man U
Brian Kidd - Man U I think
David Nish - Leicester I think
Steve Hunt - Think Chelsea but not sure on him
Peter Reid - got a fookin monkeys heed just sneaks in
And some guy called Ward, Peter maybe, forest?

I can't be arsed to google but there are just enough one cap wonders to assemble a 1966 or maybe 1970 england team, Gordon West used to get most on that. Now it's easy, think its around twenty odd.
