Macheda, Ángelo Henríquez or Welbeck on loan with United option to recall if they get an injury would be good because if either of them come in United still have 5 strikers. Welbeck on loan would be amazing. He must love being 4th in the pecking order behind VP, Rooney and Hernandez.

He works hard, he runs and he can finish and im sure Fergie would love him to get a lot more match time. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Rodgers may also be willing to let Pacheco or Morgan go out on loan. I know he has limited resources up front so far but they have Suarez, Borini and Yesil who can all play centre and Pacheco was looking for a new club end of transfer window with Liverpool willing to let him go.

Lucas Piazón is an option from Chelsea as hes behind Torres, Sturridge and Moses in terms of forward positions. He's tall and can move.

Marvin Ducksch is an option outside of Europe. Technically gifted and would provide good link up play. He is playing 4th fiddle to Lewandowski, Reus and Scheiber.

Freddy Montero could be an option if we cheat the system as they will probably want a fee for him but easily enough just put a high loan deal in for him with the option to buy for a lower agreed fee. Cheating the system somewhat but its allowed so who really cares. However the only way we could get him is loan with option to buy him. However, if we went up he would fit right in at Premiership level.

Darren Mattocks is another, Jamaican international but we could execute the same deal in the Montero method mentioned above. Vancouver would probably want to keep him so he'd cost around £3-4m I would guess but if Tan and so forth really want us to go up then they should push the boat out.

In my opinion we should try and broker a deal for one of the two MLS players as once we unsettle them they will want to come. We can sell them the whole rebranding thing, increase our appeal in America, we can show our desire to go up and the signings made hence the internationals and they are so close to the Premiership, where every player wants to play. We can also improve their current salaries because the MLS has a strict wage cap.

A deal could be similar to the Andy Carroll one.

No. Why wouldn't a manager want to send out their youngsters to gain experience? The only option now is a free or loan. The best option is to loan a player who is young and hungry to succeed. We can't buy a proven Championship player because we are outside the window. Do you think Blackburn are just going to be so kind that they're going to loan us Rhodes or something?

Be realistic. We have money to spend and we may as well do it now as this is our best chance considering the depth in the squad we have. Other than that we have one other option and that is to make do with what we have until January and then buy another player.

Unfortunatly not  Welbeck will never come to us in a million years thats worse than the Crouch rumor that was going about. Paizon is young and dont see the point when we have 2 youngsters in Velikonja and Mason. And as for the MLS starts they wont come to us at this point in the season if they were going to happen it would be in january during their off season and only for a few months

Re: Malky is on the search

a loan until january would be the better option. then reassess it then.

Montero is 25, not getting any younger. If a deal was put in place he would want to come. He is a decent Colombian player and has bags of talent. There is no chance at this stage in his career he wouldn't try to force a move to the English game.

Lets just go and loan a Simeon Jackson or something then. Its a much better idea.

The truth is the Malaysians need to spend if they are going to get in a quality replacement who can step up to the plate. If they don't get in quality then there is no point at all. We may as well just use Mason.

A loan player coming in is fair enough, but do you really think fergie would loan us welbeck or Henríquez??? they are first team players at united, welbeck has played in most games for united so far this season, he is also a regular starter for england, kenwyn jones or the lad cambell are far more realistic options.

Not to us he wouldnt. If he was going to force a move at this time of the season it would be to the prem, its the wrong time of year. Simeon jackson wouldnt be a bad option he scores goals but cant see him coming.

I agree they do need to spend money to get a loan player in but I would rather get in someone with experience and who can score goals then another youngster when we alread have 2 trying to get into the team

Jones is a dumb idea. We have Helguson with no pace. West Ham had Cole but players with pace to run off his knock downs. If we get in Jones and we play Jones and Helguson we are going to be crap, make no qualms about that. If we had Maynard and we were replacing an injured Helguson then Jones would be ideal but thats not the situation we find ourselves in. Other than that we get in Jones and start Jones and Mason. I can't see Malky doing that.

Campbell is a decent option but will he come whilst sitting on a tidy wage up there? I doubt it and his attitude at times stinks.

Welbeck has only played 4 games so far and that was because Rooney was carrying a knock. Van Persie has scored for fun, 5 in 5 I think it is for him now thanks to his hat trick and Rooney has played 1 or 2, I think its 2. Ultimately, at the end of the day, if Ferguson thinks its best for him now to get more match time then he will come. I don't think Welbeck is going to tell Ferguson no he is not going out on loan to further his education.

Considering united play a conventional 4-5-1 as shown below its very unlikely that Welbeck will get a lot of match time unless its in the cups or Europe close to a league game or an injury occurs. A simple option to recall is all that is needed.

Your also forgetting the fact that Welbeck can also play out wide also the fact that if Fergy was ever going to send him out on loan it would be to a prem team just like he has before. Also the fact that Fergy tends to rotate the team if needed and doesnt always play a coventional 4-5-1

We are as close as we ever will be to the Prem in terms of this point in a season. Obviously vs Blackpool we were 90 mins away but at this point we have a very strong squad with depth. We need to capitalise on that, sell it to a potential signing and use him to fire us up and then he is where he wants to be, amongst England's elite.

How do you think Brighton got Vicente, Palace got Davids? Yes they were old but they could have comfortably sat on their arses at home doing nothing or just went to a Spanish club to play it out. They obviously sold it to them and told them they could be a part of history and getting the club to the Premiership. Montero is on $11,000 a week roughly and we could pay more than that. He is a proven goal scorer and has bags of energy as most South American players do which is what we need.

A clever loan deal will get him in easily.

Montero is completely different to 2 old players at the end of their careers. Montero is currently playing in the MLS and has played 27 games out of 29 (I think thats how many he has played going off Wiki). Now why would Seatle want to send him out on loan for the season when they still have another month left to play aswell as the start of the next season in March?

Because we can offer them a £2m loan fee with an extra £1.5m when our transfer window opens in January...

Money talks. Especially in the MLS where a stricter system is in place with the drafting and only 3 players over certain salaries etc. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

But do we want to buy a player honestly? We have just spend £3-4 million on both Maynard and Velikonja and then go buy another striker? The point of the loan is to cover Maynard for this season and not buy someone else.

Yes because I don't think we can get in quality just on a loan deal. Not Maynard quality anyway so if we want someone good enough we should do a loan with option to buy.

we got no chance with wellbeck, he his a key part of fergies plans and also has been starting for england. not a chance in hell.

a more realstic option would be someone like frazier campbell or simeon jackson,

we could also look at daniel pacheco, he went on emergency loan to norwich and was excellent for them in the championship and helped them to pip us to the auto spot in 2011 scoring a couple of important goals and setting holt up for a few.

another option could be conor wickham, 8.1mil signing for sunderland, hungry to get first team action and is available for loan.

two other possibilities could be mackie qpr yet to feature this yr or maybe le fondre at reading, but he has made some appearances for them.

Even though he's definitely not a twenty goal striker and shocking for Wales, Simon Church could be one..
