Macheda, Ángelo Henríquez or Welbeck on loan with United option to recall if they get an injury would be good because if either of them come in United still have 5 strikers. Welbeck on loan would be amazing. He must love being 4th in the pecking order behind VP, Rooney and Hernandez.
He works hard, he runs and he can finish and im sure Fergie would love him to get a lot more match time.
Rodgers may also be willing to let Pacheco or Morgan go out on loan. I know he has limited resources up front so far but they have Suarez, Borini and Yesil who can all play centre and Pacheco was looking for a new club end of transfer window with Liverpool willing to let him go.
Lucas Piazón is an option from Chelsea as hes behind Torres, Sturridge and Moses in terms of forward positions. He's tall and can move.
Marvin Ducksch is an option outside of Europe. Technically gifted and would provide good link up play. He is playing 4th fiddle to Lewandowski, Reus and Scheiber.
Freddy Montero could be an option if we cheat the system as they will probably want a fee for him but easily enough just put a high loan deal in for him with the option to buy for a lower agreed fee. Cheating the system somewhat but its allowed so who really cares. However the only way we could get him is loan with option to buy him. However, if we went up he would fit right in at Premiership level.
Darren Mattocks is another, Jamaican international but we could execute the same deal in the Montero method mentioned above. Vancouver would probably want to keep him so he'd cost around £3-4m I would guess but if Tan and so forth really want us to go up then they should push the boat out.
In my opinion we should try and broker a deal for one of the two MLS players as once we unsettle them they will want to come. We can sell them the whole rebranding thing, increase our appeal in America, we can show our desire to go up and the signings made hence the internationals and they are so close to the Premiership, where every player wants to play. We can also improve their current salaries because the MLS has a strict wage cap.
A deal could be similar to the Andy Carroll one.

Montero is 25, not getting any younger. If a deal was put in place he would want to come. He is a decent Colombian player and has bags of talent. There is no chance at this stage in his career he wouldn't try to force a move to the English game.
Lets just go and loan a Simeon Jackson or something then. Its a much better idea.
The truth is the Malaysians need to spend if they are going to get in a quality replacement who can step up to the plate. If they don't get in quality then there is no point at all. We may as well just use Mason.

No. Why wouldn't a manager want to send out their youngsters to gain experience? The only option now is a free or loan. The best option is to loan a player who is young and hungry to succeed. We can't buy a proven Championship player because we are outside the window. Do you think Blackburn are just going to be so kind that they're going to loan us Rhodes or something?
Be realistic. We have money to spend and we may as well do it now as this is our best chance considering the depth in the squad we have. Other than that we have one other option and that is to make do with what we have until January and then buy another player.

We are as close as we ever will be to the Prem in terms of this point in a season. Obviously vs Blackpool we were 90 mins away but at this point we have a very strong squad with depth. We need to capitalise on that, sell it to a potential signing and use him to fire us up and then he is where he wants to be, amongst England's elite.
How do you think Brighton got Vicente, Palace got Davids? Yes they were old but they could have comfortably sat on their arses at home doing nothing or just went to a Spanish club to play it out. They obviously sold it to them and told them they could be a part of history and getting the club to the Premiership. Montero is on $11,000 a week roughly and we could pay more than that. He is a proven goal scorer and has bags of energy as most South American players do which is what we need.
A clever loan deal will get him in easily.

Because we can offer them a £2m loan fee with an extra £1.5m when our transfer window opens in January...
Money talks. Especially in the MLS where a stricter system is in place with the drafting and only 3 players over certain salaries etc.

But do we want to buy a player honestly? We have just spend £3-4 million on both Maynard and Velikonja and then go buy another striker? The point of the loan is to cover Maynard for this season and not buy someone else.
