Who are going to be our main teams to beat this year so we can start comparing ourselves to them..

difficult to say yet, we beat reading comfortably at home early in last season, and they were near the bottom 3 prior to xmas, yet went on an amazing run to win the league.
from the early contenders you would have to say, blackburn and blackpool, brighton, wolves. i also wouldnt rule out the likes of leicester, leeds or forest nr the mix also.
i dont see hull though maintaining their current position. i also expect birmingham and bolton to improve aswell.
may aswell say most teams are in with a shout with the exception of pboro, ipswich and maybe watford.

Comepletely agree , we have stronger squads than all of those except blackburn over a season
