Shit, check how he just casually picks it up though and tosses it, couldn't have been a grenade?, surely it would have been a bigger blast and probably would have knocked them off there feet if not killed/maimed the closer one's, ain't they full of shrapnel as well.

Its one of those half powered pocket grenades mate. A lot of drug cartels etc use them in South America as well. In Mexico grenade attacks have occurred a few times.
