It looks that way dave, i think gunner and whitts will push up while much sits in the hole behind them, smith and noone hugging flanks hopefully.

That 4-5-1 could easily turn into a 4-3-3 though.

It'll start out like:

---------------Mutch-------Gunnar-----------------
Smith---------------Whitts--------------Noone
---------------------Maynard----------------------

But could easily turn to:

---------------Mutch-------Gunnar-----------------
---------------------Whitts--------------------------
Smith---------------------------------------Noone
--------------------Maynard----------------------

Yep of course cantonjack, thing is he might play 4-4-2 witrh smith up there but who knows untill they kick off, but it looks and sounds like 4-5-1 but can change easy enough with are options on the field :ayatollah:

I dont mind packing the midfield away from home.

Yeah of course, two talented wingers who are easily capable of beating players are going to hoof it up to a short striker just because we've packed the midfield

its a solid team away from home.

if anyone is panacking about the "451" dont bother. we have two natural wingers in the team, its not a 451 we are used to playing

4-4-2 at home and 4-5-1 away is the right way to play
