Anyone got any recommendations...trying for my 17 year old son

my son will be 17 in a couple of months and got some quotes just to give us an idea of costs.Used a price comparison site and cheapest came up with was£999.99 with collinswood insurance ,couldnt believe the most expensive at over £5700 !! and thats for a w reg fiesta.

My son payed £2200 for 10 months when he passed his test aged 18 on a £1000 punto what a rip off
