Always on trains and buses stand up for older people. When youngsters don't stand so the elderly, especially those who are frail, have to stand it does make my blood boil.
Also once walked to the shops with an elderly woman because she was intimidated by the young lads who just hang outside the shop all day because they had taking the pee before.
The sad thing is, its worse in America, some of the videos on YT I have seen of young Americans abusing elderly people is disgusting and if to goes to the same way here I am leaving. I dont my kids to be brought up in a society where they think its okay to abuse the elderly on public transport or stand outside a shop all day with nothing else better to do than intimidate other people.
