a book about the Welsh national football team

This book will be a unique book about the history of the national team...I know its bad timing but put that aside and I think this will be a work worth buying if you have an interest in the history of Welsh international football...here are a few lines from Phil the author




Some of you will know that I've been writing a book on Welsh Football
for the past 18 months, I've been banging on about it enough.

Well the book is finished, and it covers the whole development of the
game in Wales, with particular attention to the national team. There
hasn't been a history of the national side written since the FAW's
brochures in 1951 and 1976.
I'm making no great claims for the book as it has been a hell of a job
trying to cover everything, and before it was edited down, I'd written
160,000 words. I know there are people who may have made a better job of
it than me who have devoted their lives to the national side, but there
we go - it was a book that needed to be written so I wrote it. I've
tried to keep it light and entertaining with plenty of anecdotes and
interesting trivia.

The book now weighs in at a hefty 375 pages and is available for a short
time as a limited edition hardback. It will be published at the end of
next month, but those who pre-order get their name printed and can leave
a short message alongside.
I'm not sure how many, if any hardback copies will be available on
general sale.

I'd imagine that's an excellent read. Phil Stead is a very intelligent, passionate Welsh football fan. I'm always hugely impressed by him, whenever I hear him speak.

Be Great to read about some of our great wins, Italy.......spain.......germany......etc.........cheer us up a bit.
