Very sad to hear of Jimmy's passing. He was manager in 1975/76, which remains my favourite season ever. Promotion from Division 3, at the first attempt. 35,000 home to Hereford. There was an article about him in the recent Huddersfield programme. May he Rest in Peace.

Evans and Alston with Anderson on the Wing loved that season first one i went to on a regular basis.
if I rememember 37.5p for the Grange and 50p return from Caerphilly plus a peters pastie at half time all for under a quid

Very sorry to hear of his passing.He did well with limited resources and seems to have been a complete gent.
That was a great season ,Crystal Palace and Bury away also stick in the mind.
