The Church foul was far more central

True but it was just as dangerous to give away specially as it was clost the penalty area. I agree stupid foul but we were not keeping possession when defending and jsut kicking it back to them

Was never a free kick, the player was going down before church tickled his back, soft free kick.

Blame Coleman......Church as a left sided midfielder looks lost leaving Adam Matthews totally exposed and vulnerable.
Rickets left back, one of the World's best left wingers in his proper position & Adam Matthews right hand side of midfield.....balanced team!

Nice strike Gareth! :ayatollah:

He cant run. Cant control a ball and cant score why is he playing. We dont need to play a big man in this formation just someone who can play the ball and score

With Bellamy on the left and a bit of swapping?

Bellamy was on the left and Bale on the right all the time

Right left regardless, Bellamy plays most of his football wide left, Church is lost wide right or left and has the touch of a rhinoceros and surely you are not comparing him to Bellamy?

What I was originally saying is that Bale isn't just a left winger as you were seemingly implying.

I'd probably play him left back, left wing, right wing & possibly even striker if we could?

If we haven't got our best X1 we are in trouble......whoops, another classic bit of defending
