Thing is with midfielders on fifa one of their main attributes that effect their overall stats are defending and stamina which Cowie has better on the game. Easy way to put it is that a defender can have all his attacking stats at 99 (which would make him better than messi) but if his defending stats are awful then he'd be rated low because his position is in defence.

But saying that we don't know what position Whittingham will play on this game, he started fifa 12 as a LM and then moved to CAM later on after updates. So if they decide he's a Central Attacking Midfielder on this game, defensive stats will be less important to his overall rating which would make his rating higher.

Sorry if that was a little long winded but hopefully that information helps someone.

I will create a team of players who are not on the game as I feel it will be silly if there's 2 Earnie's for example. Here is a list of players I am thinking of creating for my Cardiff City legends team from 1988 onwards:

Goalkeepers - Gavin Ward, Jon Hallworth, Roger Hansbury

Defenders - Damon Searle, Mike Ford, Scott Young, Kevin Ratcliffe, Lee Baddeley, Jeff Eckhardt, Mark Delaney

Midfielders - Andy Legg, Cohen Griffith, Nicky Richardson, Graham Kavanagh, Willie Boland, Paul Miller, Jason Bowen, Paul Brayson

Strikers - Chris Pike, Carl Dale, Kevin Nugent, John Williams, Leo Fortune-West, Steve White, Simon Haworth, Nathan Blake

What you all think? :ayatollah:

The EA store will have classic kits for purchase using XP/credits. Cardiff is likely to get classic kits, at least one set which should see one of the old badges return.

That would be good. For someone like myself who would rather play Fifa with us in blue with an old bluebird badge, this would make the game a lot more enjoyable for me. Once I get this set up I will upload it for others to download. Even those who are for the rebrand may find it fun giving my created team a try. Obviously I will try to make every player as accurate as possible. :ayatollah:

What I want but I doubt would happen is the ability of using the ayatollah as a celebration after scoring a goal.

Brilliant idea. The ayatollah as a specialist purchasable celebration using XP would be a brilliant addition to the game. Would be great it they had cutscenes for Cardiff City to incorporate the ayatollah. Could do the same for other clubs like players pumping up the crowd when it goes for a corner.

You'd certainly see me spending my XP on it. I think it'd give people an incentive on playing fifa specially if they had little bits and pieces for fans of different football clubs. :ayatollah:

I have suggested it.

Any other additions you as purchasers/players of FIFA want to see? Suggestions...

I would too as well. XP carries over from FIFA 12 by the way so keep playing now to build up your starting store credit.

That's some good player ratings, you can pretty much use a team full of 70+ apart from the defence.

I heared ratings change depending on real life form. Dont know how much truth is in that mind...

Re: Cardiff City on FIFA 13

The site is legit, but I haven't seen the Squad or whatever. Barring in mind it's the creation centre though where anybody can create a squad they want, but I trust I Bleed Blue knows what he's talking about as I have no reason not to.

The real life form will be a part of it, but I'm not sure if you have to pay for it because they had that in the past as well. If you don't have to pay, great! It's not something I was interested in paying for.

The base stats for Fifa 13 would stay the same, basically all they do is give it a green arrow/red arrow depending on whether their form is good or not. Green = Improvement in stats, Red = Decline in stats. That means they'll add a few stats or subtract a few from the base stats depending on whether they're on form or not. They'll also give a number inside the arrow saying how much the player has improved by form or gotten worse.

Not the best of picture's but first thing I could find on google for an example. Hope that helps.

Yeah exactly! I think the real life form will only be on the high rated leagues i.e Premiership and La Liga etc, can't see them focusing on the Championship, if they did they'd be brilliant but I can't see it happening

I tried it out on Fifa 11 and on that it did only cover the higher rated leagues as you said. It be nice if it covered more leagues, but there's so many leagues to cover I'd be surprised if they did. If they did, then which lower leagues takes precedence over another. I don't know why this is being released like it's brand new, my hope is that because it's free this time. I felt in previous games it gave an unfair advantage in online matches to the person who purchased it, so I hope it is free just to give a level playing field.

Also on another note, I read Wales wont be on Fifa 13 either. Doubt many will cry about it though after the last result. They said it'd be on Fifa 14 though.
