Subject of change.

As patrons on Cardiff and surrounding areas, and more importantly Patrons of Wales,
Would you accept or recognise a changing of national Flags?

Would you accept St David's Cross as our national emblem instead of the current Dragon?

I'm currently in debate with a mate at work who says Wales are represented on the Union Jack as a thin red line.
Personally I do not recognise that as any recognition to our land.
England and Northern Ireland are displayed by the prominent Red Cross whilst Scotland by the Diagonal white cross which are all displayed on the flag.

England and Wales were already merged when the UK was formed - Wales being a principality not a Kingdom was therefore not included in the combined emblem of Scotland and England (the union flag)

The Union flag is made up of the flags of St George, St Andrew and St Patrick. Wales does not have any representation on the flag. Tell your mate to look it up somewhere instead of guessing.

Times have changed though and we are now a country in our own right.
So as of this moment in time, we are not represented on the Union Flag.(we should be though, being a country in the union)
For all those that want independence, this may not be a bad thing. :?:
