Leeds, very interesting...

Sat Sep 08, 2012 9:57 am

Colin Wanker's team are weakest, where we are strongest. It could get messy! :D :ayatollah:

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock says he will be hoping to bring in a midfielder before the trip to Cardiff City when Leeds return to action on Saturday 15th September.

Leeds have no game this weekend due to the international break. Warnock has been hit by the news that midfielder David Norris could be sidelined for around a month and he joins fellow midfielder Paul Green on the sidelines.

Warnock says he needs to strengthen his small squad with Michael Brown also struggling with a hamstring injury. Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "Michael Brown has a bit of a hamstring strain as well, so we are a little bit thin at the moment.

"We will be looking at the loan market to see what is available before the Cardiff game."

The injuries in midfield leave just Rodolph Austin, transfer listed Danny Pugh and youngster Zac Thompson with first team experience available in the centre of midfield.

Warnock might be hoping to pick up a player from the Premier League with the top flight clubs naming their 25 man squads at the start of the month.

Don't get complacent! They drew with a good Blackburn side and showed brilliant determination to come back from a few goals down! He's got a good record against us

He tried an approach for Shaun Derry last week.

Sparky told him to swivel & besides, named Derry in the 25.

Stan my good man!

How do you think the hoops will do? :ayatollah:

I think we'll be ok mate.

Signed a lot of new players & to be honest it was needed our squad was piss poor & the players we have brought in are much much better quality than the 17 we released or sold but of course it takes time for players to bed in, find an understanding with each other & play how the manager wants them to play.

Once we do that which I would say would be after 6-7 games I think we'll kick on.

How about yourself do you fancy the Bluebirds to go up this season? With the squad you now have I'd say you have a great chance myself.

hope you enjoy your first visit mate.. i have to say this fixture is up there with one of my all time favorites to be honest and one that i look out for straight away. i love the rivalry we have created between leeds and cardiff plus the atmosphere.

hope you bring a big noisy bunch as i believe a good away following always brings out a better atmosphere at our ground.

100% MIND GAMES IMO.

Warnock is notorious for this shit and he's starting again. Ignore him, I reckon one or two of those players he mentioned will miraculously be fit by the time the game comes around.

But f**k Warnock

He dont fool me with his 'beaten before we even start' bollocks

We were too confident against Bristol

Hopefully, we will have our heads on straight by Saturday.

If we are on song.... I dont care who Leeds play, we will hammer you mate :D

On his day, an excellent player. Might help them to lose the "Dirty Leeds" tag, which they seem intent on regaining lately.

I still think we'll batter them on Saturday. 6-0 to the City.

True. Nah, forget that, Bristol was a one-off.

Not a lot of jokes lately.

Brendan Rodgers has been caught speeding on the motorway - he'll do anything for 3 points!

My suppliers haven't sent me many lately and some of the ones I've been sent in the past week or so have been old ones.

No, that's not a worthy cause. I'll give a donation to Ty Hafan, if I win.

Cheers, yeah, should be ok, other than the bus bollocks, but only getting on that at Bristol so not to bad.....nothing will come close to the atmosphere at the Fa Cup game but there you go...as for the football, i cant see us getting a result, Austin is a big loss if he dosnt play as he's been the most impressive new player, couldnt care less if Norris is injured as no time for him art all (remember the handcuffs gesture??)....for those betting though i wouldnt bet on us NOT scoring, we look dangerous to be faie when wanker Warnock plays that way....e.g one nil up at Blackpool (albeit they were all over us), and in the 54th minute Warnock took McCormack off (our only player with pace) puts Diouf on so we have no outlet up front (becchio is quality, but again, no real pace) and that was that, Blackpool picked us off easily....still, you never know and we do owe you one or two...!!!
