No, he's not had five years compulsory education in Wales.

Apparently as long as you have played in the country for 5 years you can play for the national squad?

I don't get the obsession of wanting English players to play for Wales, Welsh players should be playing for us not some English player because he's not good enough for England

We're playing in an English league pyramid though.

But the club is WELSH It's the same with Mikel Artea he can play for England because he's played for an English club more than 5 years!

It's also naive.

If England used this rule we would have no one of any quality ever again.

Thought that there was an agreement that the four home countries did not use the residency rule amongst themselves. Has to be a bloodline, or five years' compulsory education. Besides, Peter is English.

As much as Pete loves Cardiff and loves here, he would never play for Wales. He would get a ribbing from his mates, and I hate to say it but hes very proud to be English and being a Cov lad

Peter Whittingham doesn't get taught, Peter Whittingham teaches the teacher

Peter Whittingham = Chuck Norris!?

Re: Whitts for Wales

Peter Whittingham has already played for Wales. Whitt's single handedly won a World Cup for the Welsh team, scoring a hat-trick and being named man of the match in each game. However, this has not been reported on as there is an airtight conspiracy to keep this truth hidden.

This conspiracy was created and maintained solely by Whittingham himself.

Why, you ask. Why not? He does what he wants.

Personally I think if we was looking for someone born outside Wales to represent the national team I wouldn't think Midfield is a place we should worry about. I think we're pretty solid there, A CB or a St I'd be looking for.

For the last time folks -

The home nations have a written agreement lodged with Fifa not to use this rule otherwise ryan giggs could have qualified to play for england. So peter whittingham and and angel rangel can not play for wales. For the home nations you have to have lineage to qualify

I wouldn't have played any of them except the ones who have been living in Wales since they were very young and felt Welsh. Earnie etc
