3 at the back very very rarely works.

To me the squad is set up mainly for 4-5-1

Thats how I'd play it. Noone and KimBo encouraged to bomb forward at every opportunity to
support Maynard. Mutch attacking the box and Whitts running the show, with Gunnarsson in
behind protecting the back four.

Its a 4-3-3 when we have the ball reverting immediately to a 4-5-1 when we don't

Im struggling to pick a macth day 18 let alone a starting 11!

Velikonja and Kiss or mutch miss out, and no room for Cowie or conway anymore near it now when all fit. Guess we can go with players at 100% and rest players carrying even the slightest knock or tiredness

Don't think either McNaughton or Taylor are good enough for this side now. Definitely the weakest link that sides will be looking to expose. Have therefore used Cowie and Kiss, because both have good engines to get up and down the pitch and more importantly (considering Taylor) they can both defend.

Think Whitts should start a game or 2 from the bench as his contribution lately (albeit from a stupid MM formation) has been poor, gives possession away and generally looks lackluster. Kim Bo from early comments appears to be comfortable on the ball, so have placed him at the centre of everything with Gunnarsson playing the disrupter role.

With so many attacking options, I really do think Mason deserves a starting place. Creative on the ball and has an eye for goal. I would replace Maynard for Velikonja on the hour to keep things fresh. Perhaps even alternating between the 2 each game. Helguson should not be starting. Even when he does play he needs someone along side him. Pointless him being on his own.

When Bellamy is fit, he'll replace Smith who will drop to the bench and Kev will unfortunately be watching from the stands.
No place for Conway, Taylor, Harris, Ralls or McPhail.

Like the range I formations, but not sure why no one has put whitts in amore attacking role. The guy can score goals!!!
Just off Maynard would be ideal. Then the obvious great selection of wingers, same great selection of central midfielders to camp on the half way with the middle back two. Big Kev and Taylor makin the runs...

Although I must say I am crap on football Manager!!!
