Loans at Watford?
Remember when we had 7 loan signings in our squad 2 years ago and everybody went crazy.
Where are they now, Watford must have a full starting XI of "Borrowed" or "loaned" players...
P.S. They have just added another to their ranks a Chelsea Defender

I was thinking that the other day when watching them.
Strange how we got crucified for it yet nothing is said about them (London club can do no wrong?)
How many have they now?
Like you said virtually whole squad must be loanees.

Thanks for the input but this is a specific topic about Loans at Watford and about a previous instance in the history of our club. Nothing to do with transfers

Thought there was a limit how many could play though?
Im sure we had 7 on loan but only 5 could go in the matchday squad?

But most of the loans are coming from their owners other clubs in Italy and Spain. So they're not really spending any loan fees apart from paying players wages.

The ruling is a maximum of 5 domestic loans in the match day squad.
You can have a complete starting 11 of foreign loanees if you want as leeds did when they were relegated from the prem they had 9 loans in there starting 11 for a game against everton.

It's not really costing them anything though is it? most of the loans are from Granada and Udinese which are both owned by the pozzo family so regardless what club they are at the wages need to be paid. The money comes from the Pozzo's so doesn't make a difference which club pays it. Although the none parent club loans will cost them money.
