Wrong... For a player to play on a Saturday they have to have signed before 12pm today

You were clearly the thick one saying "PEOPLE WE CANNOT SIGN ANYONE TOMORROW AS IT IS DEADLINE DAY TODAY" or along the lines of that.

The deadline for signing any player on a permanent is 11pm tonight. Ok?

If the club wants the player eligible for selection on sunday, they have to sign him by 12pm today (just over an hour)

Same happened with RVP he had to sign by a deadline on the friday to be eligible for the first game on the monday.

I'm worried about you.......so, how was I wrong or thick by saying we can't sign anyone tomorrow as it's deadline day today?

You wasn't wrong you just misunderstood the thread, that's why I shouted at you to re-read it.

I didnt misunderstand the thread, I was pointing out to a couple of guys, Overthemoon and Pontyclun Blue, that suggested we might have until noon TOMORROW to sign Maynard as we were playing on Sunday, that this was not the case as today is deadline day whether we're playing saturday, sunday or monday! Easy really.....

Ordinarily, we'd be able to sign a player up until noon, the day before a match!
As we don't play until Sunday, that would normally mean that we could sign somebody up until noon tomorrow!
We all knew that the transfer window closes at 11pm tonight, so I didn't think we had to explain that would be the cut off time for signing a player for involvement in Sunday's fixture!

Sorry to raise this again, but Sky Sports are still stating that signings had to be done by noon in order to play this weekend.
