SIGNAL OF INTENT!!!

Wed Aug 29, 2012 2:13 pm

Could there be a bigger signal of intent than signing Craig Noone?

He was targetted last January, the negatory brigade will still say it was
a 'fake' bid by the Malaysians.. But it looks like Malkys got his man :ayatollah:

Not only is he one of the top wingers in the division, but he is from one of our
main rivals, and caused us all sorts of grief last week. Genuine skill, genuine
pace. Brighton will be gutted, Andrew Taylor will be over the moon. Gives
Malky an interesting option. Bellamy up top in this division could well be the
20 goal striker we all wanted. He was superb towards the end of that season
and pretty much got us to the play-offs on his own.

4-4-2 Malky lad....Go for it :ayatollah:

But we already got bellers, kimbo, conway, smith who can play out on the wing :? unless some of the midfielders are going to play at fullback at some point i can not see why we would need another midfield player when we are well sort at the back rite now.

Age? he's only 24. Malky looking to the future? We wont get 40 odd games out of Bellamy, no way.
I can only imagine he plans to stick CB up top. Agreed re: the defence though. However, this one
has come out of the blue. He wont be a free transfer surely? So there must still be money available
when he sees someone he wants

There hadf to be money available taffy as carl stated theres around 15million to spend and we have only spend 7million so who knows, would rather the defence get sorted b4 anything myself at fullback positions as we already have twelve midfielders.

Agree again. Im getting the feeling we already have a couple of defenders boxed off ;)
Probably premiership lads? I cannot for the life of me imagine ANY manager going midfield
crazy and ignoring glaring deficiencies elsewhere in the team. Goes for strikers as well!

I reckon minimum one defender and one striker to come in.

he is a proper winger, and a good player. 442 would be a better option.

Noone is very good on the ball but from what I've seen his crossing is in the McNaughton class! Be nice to have some more pace though.

malky hasnt got the balls to play with 2 strikers

I dont thimk he will , more this way i think

--------------Marshall-------------

Kev---Hudson----Turner---taylor-

-------Gunnar-----Mutch--------

--------------Whitts-------------

-KIM BO------------------Noone-

--------------Bellamy-----------

Re: SIGNAL OF INTENT!!!

I can't imagine Bellamy enjoying playing up front on his own trying to get his head on hudson and turners long hoofs up field. Not the answer to our problems in my opinion.

Re: SIGNAL OF INTENT!!!

this MUST mean a change to the 4-5-1. Bellamy and Mason with Kimbo and Noone on the wings  :ayatollah:

maybe we will do a spain and go with 4-6-0 ;)

Dave, 100% Malky has been totally backed, Malky has to deliver now, no matter what as Cardiff City will now be near £100 mill in debt, with interest occurring and high wages.

I really hope he can, because rem Malky is inexperienced and the pressure will be beyond belief from the fans, but even more Vt.

Hopefully the team will knit together pretty soon. We will see attractive attacking football with
a mean defence. With the players we have, and the ethos at the Club of togetherness (lets remember
we got to the play-offs last season with half a squad really)....

Noone, Bellamy, Kim Bo, Mutch, Whittingham, Helgusson, Smith, Mason, Velikonja, Gunnarsson

If Malky cant get a load of goals out of that lot... then yep, he needs to have a good hard look at
what he's doing. And if he can... AND he can get one or two more defenders and tighten up back
there....

We've never had a stronger squad!!! and its not finished yet!!!

Would be over the moon if we got him.

ONE CRAIG NOONE, THERE'S ONLY ONE CRAIG NOONE, ONLY ONE CRAIG NOONE!
