I see the post was only made after they had won their 5th game straight. Don't you just love a gloryhunter. ;)

interesting responses from the newport fans, all quite positive.

every fan has their opinion and for some the rebrand can not be taken...

as for myself, ill be supporting cardiff city fc until i can no longer attend, whether we have, malaysian owners, american, arabs or any other nationality. play in blue, red, pink, whatever. theres no way id abandon cardiff city fc owners come and go, as do players, but the fans are always there.

of course im not happy about the change of kit who is, but it wont stop me giving my 100% backing to the lads that grace the pitch. if the guy next to me wants to wear a blue or a red shirt i dont care, as long as we each give our support to the team.

Another deserter, he has his reasons. Call him what you want, but at the end of the day, CCFC has lost a fan to a local rival? And this should never happen. Dissapointing.

Never thought I'd see the day, how many more are doing or thinking of doing this that we don't know about? Its the rebrand end of, no other reasons, people falling out of love with the modern game at the high level and its EPL/Champ League business like franchise obsessions and multi international team sheets. but....we are still Cardiff City Football Club, and I find it hard that you can just flush it out of your psyche. :ayatollah:

Thoughts/rants?

Spot on Baz,good luck to County and I hope they go up, but I will never like or support them and the hardcore of Newport really do hate us.

Haha! Are they still called Abergavenny Thursday's? Done them over a few times when I played for BSC Ebbw Vale!

Re: "Ex" Cardiff City Fan

He clearly wasn't a proper fan in the first place switching allegiences like that.

I know some people who are City fans who go down to Newport if we are playing away just to get their football fix. I've got nothing against that to be fair. Supporting a local team and all that...

I agree, however, whilst living in jackland for 25 years, I never once went to support my local team. :?

Went and watched Port Talbot a few times though. :D

Totally oppose the rebrand, totally oppose the way our owners think, cant stand red, cant stand the dragon, but not supporting the city! City till I die. Any supporter who turns their back on the city in difficult times are not welcome here anyway. Good riddance. :ayatollah:

Yes, because surely i got nothing better to do with my time than go on NCFC's message board and sign up pretending to be you.

Look, I was asking an honest question based on the name of the poster, as other's have said they also thought the same. Now let's stop it here before things get worse again!

Don't even take the bait mate, the guy's almost certainly semi retarded. Surprised he's got through the parental settings on the computer tbh.

Little more than prostitution imho, going on another clubs mb & trying to sell yourself.

Yes, i know we all have a choice, but to for me this is the lowest of the low.

A football club is a life long thing, whether you like the policy's or not.

TOTALLY AGREE :ayatollah:

Sadly thats not the case for everyone, check this out - my mate is seriously thinking of changing aliegence from MUFC to the bluebirds because he is sick of me calling him a cardiff plastic Manc AND because we now play in RED!!!!!

Could have easily just gone to watch them without saying anything. Instead the turnip had to have a dig at cardiff city
