THERE are reports this morning that a large bang heard in Cwmbran last night was part of a meteorite shower hitting the area.
Argus readers are reporting hearing what they initially thought was an explosion at around midnight.
There was a meteorite shower reported over east Wales and west Shropshire, and it is thought that a golf-ball sized piece of meteor hit the area.
