Why did we let him go? It's obvious to me he has bags and bags of talent and the BEAST provides us with a plan B. He and Helguson would provide a potent threat with the way Malky plays his boring hoofball. If MM knew we were going to be play like long ball merchants then why not keep him?
He scored six goals for Scunthorpe in a handful of matches last season and by all accounts he has started well for Fleetwood Town. MM you have made a major mistake by letting go of him if you knew we were going to play the way we are. Jon Parkin is a master at holding the ball up and also a goal scoring machine. Sad that the plastics hated him for his perceived poor diet.
